BIO Jungle Man UK aka Andrew McLeary is a rising star who returned to the UK music scene in 2011. He is a UK Artist mainly of Reggae genre born in Dulwich, London, UK and is of Jamaican descent. For some extra flair Jungle Man UK has also worked with Wacky T from France on a project in conjunction with Shyrick Dancehall Radio who recently released the CORRUPT RIDDIM which included the track ‘Hotter than Hot’. He has also done work with Doctor H also from France on the BARTUCADANCE RIDDIM and this included the track ‘Its Time’. Jungle Man UK is also on a collaboration with Mysta Paqk tracked called ‘Gal you body good’ which is produced by Dread EFX & Twista Music Entertainment with co-production by AMP n Vomit which mix n master the track. Jungle Man UK has been steadily getting worldwide acclaim for his music contribution in the form of air play on many stations in both UK and abroad. His soundtrack ‘Bad Bwoy Story’ has recently been remixed to feature Sizzla Kalonji and this soundtrack appears in the Jamaican movie LADY DON which stars Safira Mono in the leading role. The original ‘Bad Bwoy Story’ track featured the vocals of his then 15yr old daughter Tè-Nom. BIO Bad Ras is a reggae artist born and grow with his five brothers and two sisters in Kingston Jamaica to Christian parents. He went to Norman Manley High school and his love of music was getting stronger the older he got with influences such as Capleton and Admiral Tibet. After leaving school he learned a trade as a jeweler, but music was his first love. Before moving to the UK in 1999, he performed at local fetes and stage shows. Hs original stage name was ‘Bucka’ until his uncle called him Bad Ras due to his teenage rebellious behavior, a name which he adopted as his stage and street name. While living in the UK Bad Ras lives in Moss Side Manchester, which has a very strong Jamaican community. This allows him to keep his Jamaican identity of which he is extremely proud, alive and gives him the chance to continue to express himself in a way that he was used to. He has done performances in Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, London, Birmingham and Bristol. With artists such as I Octane, Movado, Gyption, Beanie Man and Richie Spice. Throughout his life Bad Ras felt forced to express himself and realized that the most positive and fulfilling way of doing this was through his music. He says ‘I get my creativity from the vibes at the time, outer and in music, and it is a greater force within me that delivers the music and you can get good from bad and bad from good’. Bad Ras’s roots and culture are Rastafari and he says this helps to keep him focused and righteous, in his life and music. He is currently working on an album to be launched in early 2012. He will be performing some of the tracks from the album during a European tour in the same year. He is also looking forward to doing more shows in the UK over the coming months and next year. Bad Ras has expressed his extreme gratitude to his supporters in his local community and throughout the UK.
