BIO Jamaican sensation Lenny Kurlou has captivated audiences with his sultry, sexy voice. Born in Kingston, JA raised in Cockburn Pen, Lenny was immersed in reggae music. Several internationally known artists resided in his community such as were Super Cat, Admiral Bailey, Early B, Josie Wailes, Charlie Chaplin, U-Roy, Little Twitch.
Along with his charismatic voice, Lenny can also add singer/songwriter/ producer/actor to his plethora of talents. He began singing early in life, starting his career on dancehall sound systems then later joining the Anthem Band, continuing onto Stryker’s Posse/ We N’ Dem and most recently the award winning S.T.O.R.M. Reggae Band. Lenny’s skills can be heard on the album “Eye of the S.T.O.R.M”. which was released late 2007. Several tracks “As-Salaam Alaikum, Hola Hola,” receive airplay on BBC Radio, Big Up Radio, Irie FM, and numerous stations worldwide. “Hola Hola!” which he co-produced, was also featured on the soundtrack for Nora’s Hair Salon II starring Tatiyana Ali, Mekhi Phifer, and Stacey Dash.Lenny is also one of the lead singer in the Archives band, based in Washington DC. Lenny has also released many tracks including “Testify, Homeless Man just to name a few. He has also received ‘ Singer of the Year’, "song writer of the year" at the DC Reggae Awards. Now solo Lenny expires to explore new beginnings. His new venture is Kurlou Reggae Allstars. While touring and performing he is currently working on his album.
